A homeowner in Fort Wayne, Indiana had concerns about the condition of his basement due to water seeping in through cracks in the walls during a heavy rain.  The homeowner was aware the the foundation basement walls were leaning in slightly, but the problem had continued to worsen over time creating a gap for water to enter and pool on the floor.  He began searching for a reliable basement waterproofing and foundation repair contractor in his area that could come to provide an estimate and permanent solutions to the issues.  

Our Certified Inspector Jay went out to the home in Fort Wayne, Indiana to provide a thorough inspection of the basement to find out where the water was entering through the gaps in the walls and how we could provide permanent stabilization.  Jay's recommendation to the homeowner was to have a full perimeter waterproofing system installed to collect any water seepage and redirect it to a sump pump system, which would remove the water out and away from the basement.  His expertise in foundation walls helped him determine that we would need to brace the walls to prevent any further movement.  

Our Foreman Emilio and his crew members Denis, Marcos, Edwin, and Jorge installed the patented WaterGuard floor drainage system on top of the footer around the perimeter of the basement, CleanSpace wall vapor barrier, and a SuperSump pump system.  The bowing foundation walls were stabilized with Geo-Lock wall anchors and PowerBraces.

Our Foreman Yahir and his crew members Hector, Victor, and Ramon installed PowerBraces and Geo Lock Wall Anchors for permanent stabilization and foundation wall support in the basement.  To keep the basement dry, the crew installed a perimeter WaterGuard drainage system that they installed on top of the basement footer to redirect leaking water to a TripleSafe sump pump.  The CleanSpace wall vapor barrier installed on each wall in the basement will also help redirect water to the drainage system and help lower moisture levels.  Lastly, the crew installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier in the basement which immediately reduced the relative humidity level of 78 to a comfortable 52.  The homeowner couldn't be happier with the outcome of the project that started with Jay's inspection through the installation of the products led by our Foreman Yahir.
