The foundation issues were severe and put the barn at risk of collapsing if not repaired correctly.  Our Foreman Todd and his crew members Nolan and John faced significant challenges with this job.  It was the first time that we had encountered foundation issues of such magnitude on an old barn.  The crew embraced the adversity that they faced and worked hard to install the Push Piers to stabilize the beams inside the barn.  Another challenge was getting the excavator around in such a limited space, but they overcame this challenge as well.

This homeowner in Kokomo, Indiana noticed that his foundation walls were bowing inward significantly causing risk for complete wall failure.  She became very concerned about the safety of her home and reached out to Basement Systems of Indiana after researching reliable companies on the Internet.  

Our Sales Inspector Paige went out to the home in Kokomo to provide a thorough inspection of the foundation walls in the basement and determine a viable solution that would solve her issues.  With the walls being bowed out significantly, the only solution for our production team was to stabilize the walls to prevent any further damage.  

Our foundation repair Foreman Wes and his crew installed 10 PowerBraces on the walls to eventually straighten the walls.  PowerBraces are a wall support system that consist of steel I-beams that are secured to the joists above the wall with steel brackets.  The job was a challenge for the Wes, John, and Jon-Wesley, but their knowledge of foundation issues and hard work ethic allowed them to persevere.

Our Foreman Eric and his crew members John and Josh were tasked with encapsulating the crawl space with CleanSpace vapor barrier to prevent moisture from passing through the ground.  The crew also installed SilverGlo thermal wall vapor barrier to trap the heat inside the crawl space.  Two TripleSafe sump pumps were installed on opposite ends of the crawl space to remove any water entering the crawl space that would be redirected by our EZ Flo Drainage System.  Lastly, the crew installed our energy-efficient 5-star rated SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to reduce the high humidity in the crawl space as well as purify the air. 

A homeowner in Greentown, Indiana had a dirt crawl space with no vapor barrier and began to notice a musty smell seeping into his home.  Concerned about the potential of moisture and mold in his crawl space, he became interested in having an expert inspect his crawl space and provide a solution.  Our Inspector Chip went out to the home to provide a free estimate and inspection of the crawl space.

Our Foreman Sai and his crew members Evert, Kevin, and Erick used CleanSpace vapor barrier, a thick, durable 20 mil liner that seals the exposed Earth and block walls.  The crew combined the vapor barrier on the walls with SilverGlo thermal insulation to control the temperature in the crawl space.  The sump pump and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier will permanently keep the crawl space dry.  

A homeowner in Russiaville, Indiana has a finished basement with a poured concrete wall, but did not have an emergency escape route out of the basement.  Indiana building codes require a poured or block basement wall to have some sort of exit in case of an emergency such as a fire.  The homeowner began searching for reliable companies to come out an provide an estimate for cutting the opening in the concrete wall and installing an Egress window.  We sent out a certified inspector to meet with the homeowner and gather dimensions for the window installation. 

Our Inspector Chip provided a full inspection of the foundation and in the basement to see if there were any other issues that would need to be discussed with the homeowner.  Because the basement had a poured concrete wall, Chip explained to the homeowner that after the opening was cut and window completely installed, our production team would have to stabilize the wall. 

Our Foreman Emilio and his crew members Denis, Marcos, Edwin, and Jorge got to work, but hand digging on the exterior of the foundation to put a RockWell window well in place for the egress window.  Once the opening for the window was cut in the poured concrete wall, the crew added the Egress Window and sealed it to prevent any leaks.  PowerBraces were used to provide permanent stabilization of the wall and prevent any foundation issues.
