Our Certified Inspector Eric went out to the home in Lynn, Indiana to provide the homeowner with a thorough inspection of the structural issues in the basement section of the home, the water issues in the crawl space, and any potential foundation issues on the exterior of the home.  Eric informed the homeowner that water seeping through the crawl space ground could be resolved by having a drainage system installed around perimeter of the basement that redirects the water to a sump pump.  Sealing the crawl space ground would prevent moisture from passing through and causing humidity.  Eric's inspection of the crawl space area pointed out that the wooden floor joists supporting the floors above had begun to rot and shrink, causing the floors to be uneven above.  His recommendation for this issue was to installed support beams that would stabilize the floors and prevent any further movement.  

Our Foreman Joe and his crew members Brian and Juan Pablo installed an EzFlo drainage system in the crawl space that will redirect the ground water to SuperSump Pump, which will then pump the water out of the home through a discharge line system.  The crew also installed CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal the ground and walls from any moisture passing through and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to control the environment.  For the structural repairs to the floor joists, the crew used SmartJack support posts that stabilize the floors above from any further movement.
