There are three different possible solutions for foundation cracks, but our wall reinforcing system called Carbon Armor solved the problem in this instance.  The Carbon Armor wall stabilization system includes flexible carbon fiber fabric straps that are up to 10 times stronger in tension than steel.  The basement wall cracks were also causing water to pass through the walls, creating a need for an effective waterproofing system as well.

Our Foreman Joe and his crew members Brian and Anthony installed an EverLast crawl space door, a TripleSafe sump pump, and an energy-efficient SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.  The crew also used mold spray to remediate the existing mold, but the true factor in keeping the relative humidity down was the installation of the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.  The homeowner's crawl space is now a completely different environment that will stay dry and allow clean, healthy air to rise into the home as opposed to potential mold spores that could form inside the home and attic.

Our talented production team used jack hammers to break out a trench approximately a foot away from the wall on top of the basement footer.  This allows us to place our patented WaterGuard floor drainage system, in which water will then flow through around the perimeter of the basement until it reaches our TripleSafe sump pump system.  The crew also installed a battery backup system with the TripleSafe sump pump to protect the basement in case of a power outage.  The homeowner was very satisfied with the results of her new waterproofing system that will keep her storage items dry!

Casey informed the homeowner that the floors joists under the home were sagging due to there not being a foundation or skirting and humidity wreaking havoc.  His recommendations included shoring up the wooden floors joists with a more permanent solution that would include steel jacks and beams to prevent any further movement.  The homeowner was interested in the floors being lifted back to their original level, which Casey did discuss that we could not guarantee a complete lift, but adjusting as needed over time.  

Our Foreman Joe and his crew members Erick and Mario installed a total of 11 SmartJack support posts with steel beams to strengthen the support of the failing wood floor joists.  The installation was completed in 2 days and the homeowner was very happy with the efficiency of the crew.
