Basement Waterproofing and Wall Finishing in Noblesville, IN
Challenge
Homeowner Jack had water issues in his basement that needed to be addressed, but he wanted a waterproofing system that could be hidden. Typically, when we install a basement waterproofing system such as the WaterGuard French Drain with a Sump Pump, it is a perfect solution, but it is visible to our homeowners. In this instance, our Foreman Holden noticed there was not much room for an adequate discharge line for the sump pump and knew that the homeowner wanted to hide as much of the system as possible. This was challenging for our production crew, because we have never installed a "hidden system," until we began using the Everlast™ Finished Wall Restoration System.
Solution
The solution to hiding a basement waterproofing system for the homeowner Jack was to use the Everlast Finished Wall Restoration System. The production crew installed the WaterGuard French Drain System to collect the water that was passing through the basement walls and drain it to a SuperSump Plus. The goal of the system remains the same and operates like normal, only this time, we punched out of the house UNDER the customers deck and ran the discharge line out into the yard. The Everlast Finished Wall Restoration System permanently repairs dry wall that is damage by water and mold, ensuring that the basement walls are protected from future leaks. Installation includes cutting the existing drywall and studs beforehand. The new system cannot be installed until the drainage system has been installed. Once the concrete dries, the wall system is installed. While it was a lot more work for our production crew, the results of the basement waterproofing system payed off for the customer.
