A previous customer in Coal City, Indiana had a scheduled annual maintenance with our Service Tech Nolan to check over her sump pump and drainage system.  During the inspection, Nolan noticed the basement walls were bowing inward significantly and needed support.  Our Foreman Yahir and his crew members Hector, Victor, and Ramon installed PowerBraces to permanently stabilize the block basement walls and prevent any further movement.

From Humid to Healthy: Crawl Space Upgrade in Freedom

Before reaching out to Basement Systems of Indiana, Guy was dealing with persistent humidity and poor access in his crawl space—issues that were affecting air quality and overall comfort in his home. Ready for a long-term solution, he scheduled a free inspection to explore options for moisture control and structural upgrades.

Crawl space specialist Casey recommended a full CleanSpace encapsulation system with drainage matting, ventilation improvements, and a new exterior entrance. Foreman Joe and his crew removed all debris, installed CleanSpace Encapsulation and Drainage Matting, and added a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier with a condensate pump to manage humidity. Electrical outlets were installed to power the system and support future needs.

To improve access and durability, the team installed a new exterior entrance featuring an EverLast door and well. Now, Guy’s crawl space is clean, dry, and energy-efficient—supporting a healthier home environment. If you're facing crawl space moisture or access issues, start with a free estimate today:
